Vincenzo Bellini and its life

Vincenzo Bellini born at the first November 1801 in Catania, showed of as little child already a large affection to the music, they say he had served it in the blood, inherited of the old Vincenzo Tobia Bellini. Its grandfather who was a master in the chapel of prince Biskari. Naturally he inherited also by his Father Rosario Bellini, an apprenticeship master of music in Catania. Vincenzo was one of five children, he had three sisters and a brother. The grandfather loved the little Vincenzo especially, the little Boy followed and observed stepped and steps its grandfather. He was very exactly in all performances. So the little sympathetic Vincenzo in entirely was confessed in Catania. Vincenzo composes its first piece called of "Gallus cantavit" in 1807.

1819 Vincenzo Bellini receives a financed study of the city of Catania where he traveled for 4 years studied around then after that he went to Napoli. There he studies at the royal university S. Sebastiano. Its masters at this university were, G. Furno, Giacomo Tritto and Antonio Nicola Zingarelli. Whereby latter Bellini directed towards the napolitanic melodrams of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Joseph Haydn.

1825 Such a large success was given to Bellini by his first large work called "Adelson e Salvini" in the theater San Carlo of Napoli were he further work in order." Bianca e Fernando" (the title became later Bianca e Gernando). With these successes, Bellini confirmed the financing of its study through the city of Catania.

After these fantastic successes in Napoli, it pushed Bellini 1827 to Milan. Called by Domenico Barbaja, he worked there with Felice Romani, Maddalena Fumaroli and the tenor Giuditta Pasta. A further large work was born "Pirata" a work about people told for weeks in the streets. So Bellini enthused also the cold north with its passionate southern flair.

The largest works emerge decides to create themselves however at the time of 1827 until 1835 th. Vincenzo Bellini produced not more then a work per year, because good works need time it said and should have become good subject otherwise how to explain the success of Bellini. Bellini remained in Milan and his success reached until 1833.

At the beginning of the year 1833 he visited London for some months and travels from there out to Paris. There he associated with other large personalities of its class as well as Rossini, Chopin, Franz Listz, Luigi Cherubini, Alessandro Dumas and Victor Hugo. Bellini most sincerely was received of the company and had to appear to all organizations and ceremonies. He was chosen and accepted very well.

In the year 1835 at the 24 January, he created his itemized last work "I Puritani" in the theater of the Italians.

1835A stormy Night at 15 September in Puteaux (France) Vincenzo Bellini lost his live, the reasons are unexplained. Its gift were transferred 41 years later to the cathedral of Catania where he could be found until today in the Cathedral of Catania "Duomo di Catania"

Heinrich Heine said once on a meeting in venice, that bellini would die early, but noone believes in his words. Vincenzo Bellini 1801 in Catania (Italy) born, died in Paris (France) on the 24 September 1835 (Puteaux-France)

The theater Massimo "V. Bellini" a work of Carlo Sado, born 1849 in Milan. After the architect had worked in the Piemont, he transferred himself on favor of the comunalen government 1880 after Catania. Shortly on that it became was completed with the construction and the interior equipment of the theater delegated the theater 10 years after its arrival in Sicily in the year 1890.
