Catania, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Aci Trezza and Aci Castello The east coast of the Island offers many hotel concern as well as single vacations houses that you can rent for a vacation on Sicily. The coast before Aci Trezza or Aci Castello is rocky but the water quality is clearly better at these coasts. At these beaches is less loose and I find probably better quiet than at that overfilled sand beaches before the city of Catania For diver this area around aci trezza would be very interesting because there is a nature protectorate befor the Coast of Aci Trezza. Also the coast by Santa Tecla where the Santa Tecla Palace was built is very pretty. The hotel possesses a fantastic outlook on the coast of Sicily. The hotel prices vary also here for a single room of 50 to 120 Euros and for a double room of 70 to 150 Euros, according to equipment of the hotel room. Vacations houses lie between 500 and 1000 Euros for a month and are equipped usually very loving and decorative. One must inform himself on time to rent a pretty vacations house, because also many Italian tourists come to spend its vacation on the island. Also in the inner cities of Catania can be found pretty hotels in baroque facades and good equipment. The involvement to the airport in Catania (Fontana Rosa) is also very good, with the bus ca. 15 minutes based on the traffic. Prices for nourishment, if a vacations house was rented on the island, lie clearly more low than in Germany or the USA. The prices for food are there more slightly because many products are locally cultivated. |
