Lava rock-photos and the different forms
Lava rock is like you can prettily see here
very similar to a sponge.
There are different forms of lava rock.
So there are this spongy, easy form and also firmer
forms of lava rock.
The airy version you can rather call foam, because
it binds more oxygen by the emerging and creates a frothy
structure with many air chambers.
This foam is usually
the uppermost layer of a lava roll. The lava lying under
hardens often to very high density rock which is optimally for structural work.
